Sanskrit Words You Might Hear in Your First Yoga Class

If you’re new to yoga, you may be intimidated by the unfamiliar language that often accompanies it. Many yoga poses, mantras, and concepts have Sanskrit names that can be difficult to pronounce and understand. However, learning some basic Sanskrit can enrich your practice and deepen your understanding of the ancient practice of yoga. 1. Asana
